LOCATION
Times have been difficult at Save Them Young Mission. We are barely able to meet the children's basic needs. With increasing numbers of children and lack of resources, the orphanage is having great difficulty in several areas.
Currently the largest issues we are facing include: lack of nutritious food, the inability to provide school to over half of the children, inability to pay for medical bills and care that is so much needed, inability to pay staff their salaries, and inability to pay our monthly utilities like gas, water, sewage, and electricity. These needs are just the beginning.
We want to be able to provide each child with the ability to be a successful adult and member of society. We want each child to be healthy and educated. We want the children of Save Them Young to be happy!
We need your support! Please visit the Children's needs link to learn more about the needs of the children. Please visit the Get Involved link to see how you can help! Please visit the Donate link to submit a monetary donation!

ABOUT US
Save Them Young Mission is a children's home where we care for abandoned, abused, missing, and orphaned children. The mission is non-governmental, non-profit organization and it was founded by Rev. Dr. Colleen Opoku Amuaben and her husband Rev. King Opoku in 1996.They felt compelled to open a home for the less-privileged after traveling to other African countries during war-times.
We strive to provide a home for these children and provide quality care. There are currently 78 children total, however the number of children is always rising. The ages of the children vary from infant/newborn to 17 years old and five of these children suffer from mental disabilities.
